HelpSource is a program created by the Foundation to provide help for credit unions that are in need of educational assistance. The Foundation will help create partnerships with credit unions and organizations of individuals to facilitate the solution to the educational needs of a credit union.

At year-end 2006, $266,013 has been awarded to credit unions that are in need of assistance. HelpSource is a program designed by the Foundation to encourage the participation of the credit union community in the solution of educational opportunities and therefore exemplifies the essence of the "people helping people" philosophy of credit unions.

The Carolinas Credit Union Foundation is pleased to offer credit unions, $10 million and under in assets, assistance through our HelpSource program. This program is a way to partner with North and South Carolina credit unions in initiatives productive to the educational development and growth of credit union employees and volunteers in order to assist the credit union. These partnerships will share resources to help credit unions in the above mentioned asset category.

Please contact us, or click here for a Request for Grant application and complete in as much detail as possible, attaching additional pages as necessary, and return to the Foundation. Please attach a copy of year-end as well as a copy of the most recent financial statements. We will review the information provided and advise you of our decision as soon as possible.
